About Us

Steril-Sil was founded in 1938 by Edward Stiller to provide a clean and sanitary method of washing, transporting and dispensing silverware. The use and acceptance of Steril-Sil cylinders can be found at eating establishments worldwide that care about protecting the eating portion of silverware from contamination.

 

Steril-Sil was one of the first manufacturers to introduce the use of plastic (nylon) to the food service equipment industry. Heavy-duty, injection-molded nylon cylinders soon became the industry standard. One-piece, deep-drawn stainless steel silverware cylinders joined our line in 1958 and are still our premium cylinder.

 

Our products have been number one in quality within the industry for over 67 years and we have never wavered from that commitment.

 

We manufacture all our products in New England and distribute through a large network of equipment dealers throughout the US. Warehouse stock is maintained on all items for immediate shipment.
